For added data security, select models are equipped with Self-Encrypting Drive (SED) features or Sanitise Instant Erase (SIE) technology, enabling immediate, secure data erasure without time-consuming overwrite processes.

Adaptive Format Support for Simplified Integration

Designed with compatibility in mind, Toshiba’s MG11 (24TB) and MG10 (22TB and 1–10TB) drives support both 512e and 4Kn sector formats through simple reformatting. This Flexible Format technology is available across both SATA and SAS models, helping customers bridge legacy and next-gen infrastructure. For cloud-scale environments, it reduces the complexity of inventory management and enables smarter procurement strategies by eliminating the need to stock separate block-size models, ultimately driving down total cost of ownership (TCO).
